Linking your Facebook and LinkedIn profiles to your User Interviews account can increase your chances of being selected for studies in a few ways:

  • Applications from participants with verified profiles can seem more trustworthy to researchers.
  • Some researchers prefer to see that potential participants have an online presence.
  • For LinkedIn specifically, researchers may be more likely to select participants whose LinkedIn profiles match their recruiting criteria.

How do I connect my social media accounts?

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Visit the browse studies page.
  3. In the banner near the top of the page, click the "Connect with Facebook" or "Connect with LinkedIn" buttons and follow the  prompts.

We’ve also made it easy to connect your LinkedIn profile directly from your “Edit Profile” page.

  1. Log in to your account.
  2. Visit the edit profile page.
  3. Scroll to “Professional details” and input your public LinkedIn profile in the provided field.

What do researchers see?

Researchers in studies you've applied to will see an icon beside your name for each connected profile. This can help give researchers more confidence in your application. If you've connected your LinkedIn account, the researcher can click the icon to view your public LinkedIn profile.
