This study wants to find teaching ideas that help teachers meet the learning needs of gifted students. The goal is to learn which teaching strategies teacher leaders think are most helpful and fair for gifted students.
The ACTIVITIES for this research project will include:
o What?
Complete a questionnaire about yourself. It will ask about your job, years of experience,
work with gifted students, and highest degree. (5-10 minutes).
Finish four surveys that will come to your email during the next two months.
Round 1: Answer seven questions where you write your responses (20-25
minutes).
Round 2: Rate the solutions (10 minutes).
Round 3: Rank the top five items by importance (10 minutes).
Round 4: Look at the ranked strategies and give your ideas (10 minutes).
The study will take 55-65 minutes in total.
o When?
You will get the surveys by email. You can click the link any time after work to complete them. You will be asked to finish all four surveys. The surveys will arrive by email.
o Where?
You will answer the survey questions online. You can access them anytime during the survey period.
o How?
All study information will be collected online using Microsoft Forms. You will have seven days to complete each survey. A reminder will be sent on day five.
Your participation in this study is voluntary. If you complete all parts of the study, you will receive a $25 Amazon gift card. It will be emailed to you two weeks after the study ends.
