We’re looking to speak with people who work at subcontracting businesses in the construction industry to better understand how they manage financial data, both at the company and project level. We want to understand current workflows, pain points, and opportunities to improve how financial information is captured, shared, and used across these businesses.
We are interested in learning about
1. How financial information flows through the business
2. Where teams experience inefficiencies or duplicate work
3. How job costing, forecasting, reporting, and change management are handled
4. Which tools and spreadsheets teams rely on today
5. What makes financial visibility difficult during active projects
Interviews will last approximately 45-60 minutes and may include discussion of existing processes, spreadsheets, or software tools you currently use. You are not required to share your screen at any point during the conversation.
