Employee Turnover and Transformational Leadership in the Financial Industry
I, Kimberley Ward-Barber, am a doctoral candidate in the School of Business and Technology at Capella University and invite you to participate in my Capstone project. The purpose of my project is to explore the perspectives of leaders in the financial industry regarding effective strategies for reducing employee turnover and improving job satisfaction and organizational productivity. You are invited to be a participant with your knowledge, experience, expertise, and personal assessments of the financial industry without regard to your current employer or workplace and the practices used at those sites.
Criteria to be a Participant:
You can be a participant if you meet the following criteria:
• Do you have at least five years of experience in a management position and handled employee turnover?
• Currently a leader in asset wealth management department
• Are you currently working in the financial industry?
Interview Format and Time Commitment:
Should you choose to participate, you will be asked to participate in a 30-60-minute interview. The preference is to complete the interview using Zoom videoconferencing. I will audio record the interview for transcription purposes. You may withdraw from the project at any time without penalty. Your identity will remain confidential; your name or the name of your company will not appear in the final project write up.
Benefit of the Project:
The expected benefits of the project include an understanding of how leaders’ perspectives for reducing turnover. A copy of the approved project summary will be provided to the participants upon completion.
