Participants are needed for an in-person, 30-45 minute medical study for the collection nasal cells. The study involves a non-invasive collection (by gentle suction) of cell secretions from inside the nose. The study involves one visit and participants will be reimbursed immediately for their participation.
The study will be conducted at our lab at Vistagen Therapeutics in South San Francisco. If selected, participants will travel to our location. You will be asked to read and sign a voluntary consent form. Once the voluntary consent form has been reviewed and signed, the entire process will be described, and a brief health questionnaire, supporting documents and nasal exam will be administered.
The collection procedure will take about 10 minutes or less, however, the entire visit will take around 30-45 minutes.
If selected, it is important that you refrain from the use of nasal inhalers and antihistamine medication 48 hours before arrival. Participants will receive a $100 VISA gift card once the session is complete. If you are found to not be eligible to continue the study, you will receive $25 via VISA gift card to compensate for time and travel.
If you must cancel your appointment, please let the clinic know NO LESS THAN 24 HOURS prior to the time of you appointment so a replacement can be contacted.

The study is ongoing and is typically scheduled for Tuesdays from the hours of 9:30am-12:30pm. Please refer to User Interviews scheduling for availability.
