Indaga Health is a public benefit corporation building a service that checks medical bills against the prices your insurance company has already agreed to pay. Insurers are now required to publish those prices, but almost nobody checks a bill against them.
We're testing our system with real bills. You'd share a recent medical bill, and the insurance statement (EOB) that came with it if you have it, through a secure upload, and sign a short consent form. It takes about 15-20 minutes. Your information stays private and is never sold.
In addition to the incentive, you'll get a free grade on your bill showing whether you were charged correctly.
