We are a software company. We want to watch people use one of our apps and hear where it gets in their way.
The session is 60 minutes, one-to-one with a researcher, over a video call.
During it you will be asked to:
- Share your whole screen and keep your webcam on, so we can see what you see.
- Install a desktop app on the laptop you are using and use it during the call. We provide the account, so there is no signup and no payment details.
- Use headphones or earphones
- Take part in a short simulated conversation using the app.
- Tell us what worked and what did not.
To take part you will need to be able to install software on the laptop you use, along with a working microphone, a webcam, and a quiet space.
Please do not download or install anything in advance. We will send you everything you need during the call.
There are no right or wrong answers, and nothing is being tested about you. We are testing our own software, and any problem you run into is exactly what we need to hear. At the end we will show you how to remove the app and sign out of the account we provided.
