We’re looking for people to share feedback on how they use YouTube (the main YouTube app or website) today, especially for listening to music. In this study, you’ll be asked about your habits on YouTube, including how often you use it, how often you listen to music on the platform, and whether you use the free version or YouTube Premium.
You’ll also share your experience using YouTube as your primary platform for music and video consumption—what you like about it, what works well, and any frustrations you may have. The study will explore features such as recommendations, search, playlists, autoplay, and overall usability, as well as how satisfied you are and whether you also use other platforms like Spotify or Apple Music.
Some participants may be asked more in-depth questions about how and why they use YouTube for music, including whether they switch between YouTube and other apps, what YouTube does especially well for music listening, and where it may fall short. You may also be asked to share feedback on specific features and describe any challenges or unmet needs in your current experience.
