I am a Doctoral Learner at Capella University in the School of Social and Behavioral Sciences. I research the motivations of female expatriates who have sought and obtained international employment on their own initiative, rather than being sent out by an American organization operating internationally. The purpose of the research is to examine the motivations of self-initiated female expatriates, an underrepresented group of workers, and to contribute to the limited research on their motivations. This study is part of the researcher's doctoral program in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
Study procedures:
Prescreening to determine eligibility. You will be provided with informed consent. Answer questions during a Zoom interview. You will be asked demographic and professional-related questions. You will be asked 7 primary questions and additional questions if time permits. This will take 45-60 minutes. An incentive of a $60 gift card of your choice will be distributed after completion of the interview.
