Over 30 events to choose from, including virtual and free options.

Conferences offer a unique opportunity to learn, network, and unwind with colleagues and peers. The sheer number of options—which are spread across the globe—can be overwhelming. That’s why we’ve searched across the Design, Product, and UX communities to put together this list of in-person and virtual events that caught our attention. 

Note: All the events below are scheduled for the second half of 2024. Ticket prices are in USD and exclude Value Added Tax (VAT). Prices may change as discounts expire. Please consult event sites for the latest information.

Product conferences

ProductCon

Industry experts gather to discuss trends in product management.

The online event takes place on Aug. 8 and the in-person event is on Oct. 16 in San Francisco. Tickets are free for the online event and $699 for the in-person version.

Summit Series

Product experts gather to share management best practices, case studies, and challenges facing their teams. Events include professional development and networking opportunities. 

Multiple locations and dates the remainder of 2024. Prices vary by event.

Turing Fest

A cross-functional tech gathering for founders and leaders in engineering, product, and growth. Programming includes keynotes, roundtables, lunch-n-learns, and social events.

July 9-10 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Tickets are $824 for general admission.

Product at Heart

Organized around four keynotes representing themes driving the world of product: 1) From growth to profit, 2) Product models, 3) Collaboration success, and 4) Skillset modernization.

Sept. 13 in Hamburg, Germany. Tickets are $750.

DDX

Brings together speakers from enterprise companies, growth startups, and consultancies. This year’s theme is “Belonging.” Programming will explore how emerging technologies are influencing digital innovation.

Sept. 19 in San Diego. Tickets are $320.

INDUSTRY the Product Conference

An event for software product managers, which includes workshops and in-depth sessions. Programming focuses on equipping PMs with methods, tools, and frameworks to build world-class experiences.

Sept. 23-25 in Cleveland. Tickets start at $1095.

Productized Conference

A gathering of leaders in product thinking, management, and discovery. Includes a leadership forum, workshop day, networking, and after-parties.

Oct. 2-4 in Lisbon, Portugal. Tickets start at $375 for the conference day.

Pendomonium

A collaboration between Mind the Product and Pendo, bringing together product managers to learn strategies for building better products and advice to craft the right career trajectory.

Oct. 7-9 in Raleigh, N.C. Tickets start at $799.

UXDX EMEA

Focused on breaking down barriers between product, UX, design, and development. The in-person option includes workshops and executive-specific networking opportunities.

Oct. 9-11 in Dublin and online. Tickets start at $277 for online and $632 for in-person.

Just Product Conference

A hybrid on-site and virtual conference with presentations and workshops covering trends in product management. 

Oct. 10-11 in Munich and online. On-site tickets start at $321 and are free to attend online.

UX design conferences

UX Nordic

Europe’s leading-edge UX Festival, connecting designers, researchers, and leaders from more than 30 countries. Includes two stages, workshops, and an evening gala.

Aug. 28-30 in Aarhus, Denmark and online. Ticket prices start at $241 for online access and $552 for on-site.

Hatch Conference

A gathering of UC and design professionals in Europe. Includes two days of mixers and workshops and a primary conference day. Topics include design craft, strategy, and ops.

Sept. 4-6 in Berlin and online. Ticket prices start at $53 for online access and $353 for on-site. Requires an application before registration is approved. See the conference site for more details.

UX India

This year is the 20th anniversary of UX India and includes a week of meetups, panels, keynotes, and networking. There are also volunteering opportunities available. 

Sept. 17 in Bangalore, India. Passes start at $194.

SmashingConf New York

SmashingConf New York is geared for designers and developers featuring presentations and workshops on React, design systems, and UX writing.

Oct. 7-9 in New York. Tickets start at $200 for online and $699 for on-site.

AIGA Design Conference

The annual conference of the professional association for design, this online event includes three days of panels, workshops, and fireside chats. The event theme is “Margins,” where programming will explore the “uncharted territories of design.”

Oct. 10-12 online. Tickets start at $200 for members and $400 for nonmembers.

World Usability Congress

An in-person conference devoted to UX strategy and management. Speakers from across industries share their approaches to real world UX challenges. Also includes workshops and masterclasses.

Oct. 15-17 in Graz, Austria. Tickets for both days start at $868.

IXDC

The International Experience Design Conference (IXDC) brings together technology and design leaders to advocate for change through design. This year’s theme is “Computational Thinking” and will feature workshops, presentations, and city excursions.

Oct. 15-18 in Beijing. In person tickets start at $32 for the keynote and one session.

Design Matters

A digital design conference organized around four key themes: 1) Regenerative and re-using design, 2) defining design for today’s world, 3) the ROI of design and, 4) sustainable design.

Oct. 23-25 in Copenhagen and online. Ticket prices start at $880 for in-person and $295 for online.

SmashingConf Antwerp

Tailored for designers, UI engineers, and UX specialists, SmashingConf Antwerp spans two days and includes presentations and workshops. On-site activities include parties and group runs.

Oct. 28-31 in Antwerp, Belgium. Tickets start at $696.

UX Brighton

This year’s UX Brighton event is focused on bringing together designers, researchers, and managers to learn the realistic capabilities and impact of AI. Includes networking opportunities.

Nov. 1 in Brighton, England. Tickets are $342.

George UX Conf

A design conference for people who build products in the finance industry. Includes presenters from product and research discussion fintech trends, design strategy, and UX.

Nov. 5 in Vienna and online. In-person tickets are $508 and free for online.

Leading Design

A two day gathering of design leaders from across the globe. Topics include everything from ROI of design and building a culture of craft to design strategy and career growth.

Nov. 6-7 in London. Tickets are $1700.

Push UX

A conference for design professionals and creative technologists. Programming includes keynotes, breakout sessions, and lightning talks on the topics animating designers today.

Nov. 7-8 in Munich. Tickets are $610.

UX/user research conferences

EPIC

This is EPIC’s 20th year of hosting conferences for researchers, designers, and creators who use ethnography for impact. This year’s event has three themes: 1) foundations, 2) displacement, and 3) generation.

Aug. 18-21 in Los Angeles. Tickets start at $1450 for in-person (includes EPIC membership) and  $150 for online.

Strat USA

A conference that focuses on product design strategy and innovation. Brings together roles like UX design, research, data science, and product. Offers both presentations and workshops.

Sept. 9-11 in Boulder, Colo.. Tickets start at $1095 for the conference only.

uxcon Vienna

A UX research and design conference featuring speakers from over 30 countries. Includes talks, interactive workshops, and social activities with other attendees.

Sept. 19-20 in Vienna, and online. Tickets start at $632 for in-person and $203 for virtual.

UX Y’all

Hosted by the Triangle chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association (UXPA), UX Y’all brings together UX professionals across industry, academia, and independent thinkers.

Sept. 19-20 in Raleigh, N.C. Tickets are $350 for on-site. Recordings are available to UXPA members for $50.

UX Con

A day for UX professionals and technology enthusiasts to share ideas, network, and connect. Programming includes UX practitioners, ReOps specialists, and leadership.

Oct. 10 in Silver Spring, Md. and online. Tickets are $195 for on-site and $50 for virtual.

Disco Conf 

Hosted by Maze, Disco Conf is a conference about discovery and the role research plays in transforming insights into decisions for product teams and organizations.

Oct. 17 online. Tickets are free.

Qual360 APAC

A conference dedicated to qualitative research professionals. Programming includes speakers from  multinational corporations, agencies, and independent experts.

Nov. 6-7 in Singapore. Tickets are $795.
