What is the Research Hub?

The Research Hub lets you bring your own users into a single platform with the User Interviews participant audience (over 100,000 and growing) for customizable populations you can save and filter. That means fast recruiting and seamless management of session logistics like scheduling, incentive payments, and screener surveys for private and public projects alike. ***What is a private project?

With private projects you can share your project details and screener survey application to whomever you choose, and no one else. You can import a list of contacts via CSV or share a link in any channel you wish. Unlike public projects, which we share with a relevant subset of our participant audience of over 100,000 people, you have complete control over who you want to invite to participate in your studies.

**What is a contact?

A contact is any participant you save in your populations—customizable lists you build with saved filters. Currently you can add people to your populations through CSV upload or invite them through a link to apply to an individual project—they’ll be added when they apply. You can delete contacts at an time. If you cross the threshold of contacts available in your tier, we’ll reach out before upgrading you to the next tier. You can also upgrade or downgrade your plan at anytime through your account billing page.

What are sessions? Do they roll over?

A session is  any research session you book and complete with a single participant through a private project with someone from your populations. If you hold a focus group with, say, 5 participants, that counts as 5 sessions. If you conduct a multi-day diary study with, say, 10 participants, that counts as 10 sessions. You can roll over your sessions, but we will not provide refunds for unused sessions.

What are recruitment credits? Do they roll over?

Recruitment credits are a limited time only perk for our Resource Hub subscribers. You can use this credit to recruit from the User Interviews audience of over 100,000 participants for public projects. You can roll over your recruitment credits, but we will not provide refunds for unused credit.

*Who pays participant incentives?

User Interviews does not pay incentives.  How much and in what form you pay is up to you. You can pay your participants manually however you like. You can also select to have User Interviews handle this automatically through Amazon gift cards. In this case, when you mark a session complete, we will release payment immediately. We charge 3% of the incentive for this service when paid by credit card. Contact projects@userinterviews.com to pay by invoice instead.
