Focus Areas: Week 1 serves as an introduction to generative AI tools for UXR and integration within the research process, providing real-world case studies demonstrating efficiency gains,, the CRAFTe framework for effective prompting, along with a deeper understanding of AI capabilities and limitations.

Week 2
Keeping Your Soul – Ethical AI in UXR & Organizational Integration

Focus areas: This session focuses on the importance of human review and validation of AI output, leading with creative integrity (e.g., IP concerns, data security with AI tools), mitigating bias in AI-assisted research, data privacy, and transparent disclosure of AI use.

Kaleb Loosbrock is an AI-Curious Staff Researcher, Product Strategist, and AI-Pragmatist at Instacart, where he’s had the opportunity to lead some of the foundational AI research and implementation within the Research practice. With extensive experience in UX Research, Product Management & Strategy, and a passion for integrating AI responsibly, Kaleb brings practical, field-tested insights into leveraging AI for efficiency and impact while maintaining ethical standards. Kaleb is also a public speaker and the creator of the "AI Empowered Researcher" framework, which will be a core component of this course.
