About the Course

Visual Design for Research is a one-hour virtual workshop that introduces research professionals to the fundamentals of visual design and equips them with the tactical and practical skills to level up their visual communication efforts.

Upon completion, participants will possess the visual design skills that separate strategic insights from static reports—ensuring your research insights are clearly communicated to stakeholders, and best positioned to have a direct impact on company outcomes.

Why and how visual communication is strategic work, not just "making things prettier"

The 4 visual principles that make research instantly digestible: hierarchy, typography/readability, color/contrast, and layout/composition

About the instructor

Sahar Chung is the Strategy Enablement Director at Multiplayer with 12+ years of experience in research and design. She's passionate about helping researchers evolve beyond traditional methods to become true strategic partners. 

Sahar enjoys tackling complex, tangled problems and has pioneered approaches that reposition research teams as enablement partners who "digest and suggest" rather than simply deliver outputs. She champions an "outcomes over outputs" philosophy, helping organizations shift from methodology-focused work to business impact-driven strategy. Based in the DC metropolitan area, Sahar emphasizes community building for the UX and Product communities both in-person and virtually.
