Set a time limit for participant responses

You can now set response time limits for participants completing unmoderated tasks—keeping projects on track and responses coming in faster.

Once a participant starts a task, they’ll have a set amount of time to complete it (24 hours by default, or any window you choose). If they don’t finish in time, we’ll automatically mark them incomplete and bring in a new participant.

💡 Note: Available for studies using an integration or tracked custom link.

How it works

• Choose Integration or Tracked custom link as your task platform
• Toggle on “Set time limit option for participant response” and set your desired time window
• Participants see exactly how much time they have to complete the task, and get reminder emails to help them stay on track
• If they miss the deadline, their spot becomes available to the next approved participant on the waitlist
