How much it costs
PAYGO Pricing
- B2C studies: $49 per participant (excluding incentives)
- B2B studies: $98 per participant (excluding incentives)
Incentives are paid separately and go directly to participants.
No-Shows, Cancellations & Fraud
- No-shows: You will not be charged the recruiting fee for verified no-shows.
- Cancellations: Policies vary based on timing and participant status.
- Fraud: Fraudulent participants are credited back once confirmed.

Is upfront payment required?
Yes. PAYGO projects require upfront payment by credit card before recruitment begins. This ensures participants can be paid promptly once your study is completed.
Can I pay via invoice instead of credit card?
No. PAYGO and student accounts are credit card–only and do not support invoicing.
Can I still use the platform to send NDAs?
Yes. You can send NDAs and other consent documents directly through User Interviews as part of your project setup.
Is User Interviews secure?
Yes! User Interviews takes security seriously and have robust controls and processes in place to secure your data. Learn more on our Security page.
